The EASIER coordinator had the possibility to report on the project status and advancements showcasing the state-of-the-art of the Automatic Sign Language Translation (ASLT) with a presentation titled “Automatic Sign Language Translation: dos and dreams“. ASLT is gaining momentum in Europe, not just in the research field but also in the market, in the wake of the recent legislative framework. In this talk, our coordinator highlighted EASIER as one of the recent initiatives in Europe addressing ASLT and the lessons learned towards creating an ecosystem where end-users actually benefit from innovation.
