After 3 years of intensive collaborative research and joint efforts, the research and innovation projects EASIER (Intelligent Automatic Sign Language Translation) and SignON (Sign Language Translation Mobile Application and Open Communications Framework), and the LEAD-ME (COST) Action are organising the Concertation event ‘’Outcomes and outlooks of Research on Sign Language Technology in Europe’’ with the support of the European Commission, on Wednesday 29 November 2023 in Brussels.
The event will showcase the results achieved by the EU-funded initiatives and provide a platform for forward-looking interactions among project representatives, policymakers, end-users and relevant stakeholders. The event will bring together experts and professionals in policy-making, research and industry sectors to discuss the outcomes and future prospects of research related to Sign Language Technology in Europe.
The event will feature insightful presentations, discussions, a panel session and an exhibition as well as opportunities for networking with fellow experts in related fields.
